Jamaica Public Service

Jamaica Public Service has advised that at the next board meeting scheduled for September 16, 2008, a resolution will be put to the Board of Directors for the establishment of an Audit Committee. The Company has had a Finance Committee in place since in or about 2003. The Finance Committee is responsible to review all finance and treasury transactions as well as all financial statements, audited and unaudited. The Committee reviews proposed financial transactions of the Company and makes recommendations to the Board regarding approval of these transactions.  The Committee also reviews the financial performance of the Company on a quarterly and an annual basis.
