Ja. Broilers Gp. – Charitable Establishment

On June 17, 2004 the Jamaica Broilers Gp. established the Jamaica Broilers Group Foundation, with the primary purpose of providing assistance to organizations in Jamaica and overseas,”who have a desire to enhance the lives of others, spiritually and materially”. The Foundation will be funded via a contribution of 2.5% of the group’s profit before tax. Contributions to the Foundation will be made each quarter, beginning October 2004, and will be ongoing for three years, that is, up to 2007. A decision concerning subsequent funding of the Foundation will be made by the Board of the Jamaica Broilers Group after this initial 3 year period.
