On Monday, February 29, 2016, the International Women’s Forum, (Jamaica Chapter) headed by Ms. Minna Israel, President and Mrs. Camille Facey, Vice President, visited the Jamaica Stock Exchange to learn more about the Market and in particular how to invest in the Market.
Mrs. Marlene Street Forrest, the General Manager of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, gave an overview of the Markets and Mr. Robin Levy Deputy General Manager, did a presentation on the “ABC’s of investing in the Markets”.
After the presentation the International Women’s Forum honoured the General Manager, Mrs. Marlene Street Forrest for her sterling contribution to the development of the Jamaica Stock Exchange and by extension the economy of Jamaica and recognized her leadership role in the Jamaica Stock Exchange being elected by Bloomberg as the number one Stock Exchange in the world in 2015.
