Hardware & Lumber (HL) – Interim Dividend

At a meeting of the Board Directors of the company on Tuesday 31, 2000 resolved that the
directors declare an interim dividend for the year 2000 in the amount of 3.625 cents
per share to be paid (net of income tax) on November 29, 2000 to stockholders on record
as at November 17, 2000.
