Pursuant to Regulation 36(16) of the Insurance Regulation, 2001 First Life Insurance Company Ltd. Hereby Gives Notice that it has summoned a meeting of its shareholders to consider and if thought fit pass special resolutions to approve a Scheme of Transfer under the Insurance Act whereby it proposes, subject to the approval of the Financial Services Commission, to transfer the whole of its insurance business to Life of Jamaica in return for fully paid shares to be issued by LOJ. Relevant details of the Meeting are as follows:

Attendees: Holders of ordinary stock units in the capital of the Company.
A formal Notice has been sent to all shareholders. The Scheme of Transfer and the proposed Agreement for the transfer of the insurance portfolio can be inspected by shareholders at the registered office of the Company at 60 Knutsford Blvd, Kingston 5 between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 p.m. on any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday up to the day immediately preceding the day of the meeting
