The Board of Directors of Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited, at its meeting held on 7 February 2008, approved the following resolution:
(i) That dividend of 5 1/2 % per annum on the 100,000 5 1/2 % First Cumulative Preference Shares of $2.00 each numbered P1 to P100000 inclusive for the six month period ended 31 December, be paid to Preference shareholders on record as at close of business on 2 January 2008 and that the said dividend be paid on 18 February 2008;
(ii) Dividend of 6% per annum on the 200,000 6% First Cumulative Preference Shares of $2.00 each numbered P1 to P200000 inclusive for the six month period ended 31 December 2007, be paid to Preference shareholders on record as at close of business on January 2008 and that the said dividend be paid on 18 February 2008.
