Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) congratulates NCB Capital Markets Limited on winning The Chairman’s Award at the Annual Best Practices Awards, held at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, Kingston, Jamaica, on December 7, 2022. The Chairman of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, Mr Julian Mair presented The Chairman’s Award, which was received by Ms. Tracy- Ann Spence, Chief Operating Officer at NCB Capital Markets Limited.
The Chairman’s Award is the grandest award that can be achieved by a Member Dealer and is awarded by the Best Practices Awards Committee to the Brokerage Firm assessed as Overall Best Practices Winner.
NCB Capital Markets Limited is a subsidiary of NCB Financial Group Limited and was listed on the Stock Exchange in March 2017.
A Member Dealer/Broker is a company that is paid a commission for executing customer orders. This company acts as an intermediary between a buyer and seller. A broker who specializes in stocks, bonds, commodities, or options acts as an agent and must be registered with the Exchange.
Currently, there are fifteen (15) Brokers/Member Dealers that are registered by the JSE to conduct business on behalf of clients.
