Caribbean Cement Company Ltd has advised that company is passing on its savings to their customers through its latest price rationalizations initiative. The price rationalization will see prices reduced at all its distribution centres outside of Kingston effective Monday, Feb. 23, 2009. The good news is that Carib Cement’s products will now be sold at one price islandwide.
The company has also advised that it has increased efficiencies through the completion of its new state-of-the-art kiln or Phase 1 of its US$ 170 mil. Expansion & Modernization Programme. This new kiln went into operation last year and is now at maximum production capacity. Phase II which is the construction of the new Cement Mill is under way and its completion will result in possibly even greater savings.
