CAC 2000 Limited (CAC) has advised that Ms. Gia Abraham has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective January 1, 2021.
“Gia Abraham is an accomplished professional who has led at CAC since 2001, coming from the Canadian and Jamaican banking sector, starting as Chief Administrative Officer followed by her promotion to Chief Operating Officer in 2018. She is also the driver behind the formation and operation of the CAC Foundation which initiated a music therapy program for children with disabilities and, along with JSIF, HVAC training of 71 technicians. Most of who also gained employment afterward. She holds a BSC in Biology from the University of Toronto and is in the final year of her Harvard Business School Executive Program – Owner President Manager (OPM). She currently serves on the Board of CAC (also as Corporate Secretary) while being a member of the Audit, Corporate Governance and Remuneration Committees. She is also the CEO/ Director of the CAC Foundation,” states CAC.
