Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited has advised on the Basis of Allotment to subscribers of the issue of 4,000,000,000 Ordinary Shares. The Offer, made subject to the Prospectus of Sagicor Select Funds Limited, dated June 12, 2019 closed on July 16, 2019. A total of 20,301 applications totaling 6,410,496,000 units or a value of $6,358,005,240.00 were received.
The Prospectus outlined two (2) Reserved Share Applicants and a General Pool. The methodology and allotment of ordinary shares are as follows:
Reserved Share Applicants
1. The Sagicor Employee Share
These applicants were allocated 100% of the amounts applied for.
2. The Sigma Client Shares
The first 5,000,000 units were allocated 100%; the balance in excess of 5,000,000 units was allocated approximately 14.70%. Overall over 95% received full allocation.
General Public Pool
The first 850,000 units were allocated 100%; the balance in excess of 850,000 units was allocated approximately 10.51%. Overall over 95% received full allocation.
The refunds process will begin on August 2, 2019.
