Bank of Nova Scotia Extraordinary General Meeting

The Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited has advised that an Extraordinary General Meeting will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel to consider a Scheme of Arrangement between the Company and its Variable Rate Redeemable Preference Stockholders.
