Kingston: Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL), Lead Broker in the application for the admission of AMG Packaging & Paper Company Limited (the Company) to the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) is advising the public that the offer has closed as at 9:30 am today, June 29, 2011.
Applications have been received in excess of the amount on offer of J$57.8 million. SSL received 300 applications totaling in aggregate approximately J$213 million or approximately 3.7 times the fundraising amount originally sought. SSL will advise of the basis of allocation by Monday July 4, 2011.
AMG, headquartered on Retirement Crescent, Kingston supplies corrugated boxes to industry leaders such as Jamaican Teas Ltd, Seprod Ltd and Wisynco Group Ltd. In addition, the Company was incorporated in 2005 and currently has a staff complement of 65 employees.
