Mr. Alvaro Casserly has had a very distinguished career spanning over four decades. Mr. Casserly is a Past Chairman of the United Way’s Caribbean Regional Council and United Way of Jamaica. He is the Vice Chairman of the Caribbean Central American Action (CCAA).
Mr. Casserly has served on several Boards. Over the years he has been a Director of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, Jamaica Flour Mills Limited, Braco Resorts Limited, Independent Radio Company Limited, and Dyoll Group Limited.
Mr. Casserly has professional experience with various sectors including Financial, Insurance, Health, Media and Public Utility.
Within these sectors he has held positions including Managing Director, CEO, Chairman, Assistant to President, Treasurer and Director of Finance. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge which he brings to all the Boards that he sits on. Mr. Casserly believes in “service above self”, which manifests in his life as a committed Rotarian and a Past District Governor of Rotary International.
Accordingly, he continues to dedicate himself to work with many charitable organizations to better the lives of others. He also serves on the Financial Board of the Diocese of Jamaica and is an active member of the St. Andrew Parish Church.
