Mr. Kevin Powell joined the Jamaica Stock Exchange as Principal for the JSE eCampus in August 2021.
Mr. Powell comes to the position with a wealth of experience having served as Director – Student Affairs at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) where he was charged with overseeing the academic and student support needs of over 7,000 students and alumni. He has also served for over 14 years as a senior lecturer and Head of the Department of General Studies and Behavioural Science at UCC.
Mr. Powell brings his extensive wealth of experience in curriculum development, capacity building and training, to continue the growth of the eCampus through quality product offerings.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of the West Indies (Hons) and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean and the Commonwealth of Learning.
In addition to his extensive career in education, he is also a Public Speaking and Communications Specialist, a motivational coach and an author.
He is married to Marsha and together they are the proud parents of girls, Tavia and K’Hareece.
