Mr. André Gooden brings a wealth of international experience, in excess of thirty (30) years in the areas of business development, portfolio management, investment counselling, financial planning, commercial banking, stock broking and project management. He has held several senior positions within the Financial Sector in Jamaica and New York, including Citibank, Scotiabank , Barita Investments, First Global and COK Sodality Credit Union.
He was educated at Wolmer’s Boys’ School, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the State University of New York, and his MBA from the University of New Orleans. He is a former Trustee and Treasurer of the Wolmer’s Trust Schools. He is a Past President of the Wolmer’s Old Boys’ Association and has served on the Wolmer’s Board of Management for several years. Mr. Gooden is also an active member of the Rotary Club Kingston and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce, and Chair of the Jamaica Conference Board.
